Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Merchant Packaging platform operated by Merchant Marketing Group Ltd (Company No. 01640897).

By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Merchant Packaging provides a cloud-based platform for collecting, validating, and reporting packaging data to support regulatory compliance including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and Plastic Packaging Tax (PPT) obligations.

2. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Data Ownership

All packaging data submitted to the platform remains the property of the submitting organisation. Merchant Packaging processes data solely to deliver the service and meet legal obligations.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the platform for unlawful purposes; attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data; interfere with the platform's operation; upload malicious code or content.

5. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Merchant Marketing Group Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, your data will be available for export for a period of 90 days.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
